when starting to rust dye i did some other samples on calico that turned out very well, by doing this i had confidence to be able to do it on my real fabric which is thai silk that i bought from the fabric store in birmingham, Silk i felt was the correct choice for this corset as it is a natural fabric and it will make the corset look more pleasing by the choice of the fabric which was £14.99 a meter.
